Recent News of Other Lives actors, present and past

Richard Avery, former RSC, Young Vic, Bristol Old Vic and West End actor, with appearances in Emmerdale, Coronation Street, The Bill and A Touch of Frost. For Other Lives Productions parts include Charles Dickens, Paul Gaughin and Wyn Evans in Epiphany, which he also wrote.
Mike Burton, after a year at LAMDA, joined the company for Terrible Events at Lincoln Cathedral and to take over the role of Sir Jonathon in our revival of John John. He re-joined the company for Cream of Coward and Mak the Thief. Michael is currently doing a degree at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Jessica Duffield, who has appeared as Natashyia Stepanovna in The Proposal and in Marriage & Murder, is in her final year of a Drama degree at Hull University, and has recently appeared at the Gulbenkian Theatre as Titivillus in Mankind.
Eileen Dunwoody, who has appeared with Hull Truck, Theatr Clwyd, and in the West End, and whose TV work includes East Enders, The Bill, Men Behaving Badly, As Time Goes By and Inspector Morse, joined us to play Madam Arcati in Cream of Coward.
Karena Franceska, former West End actress, joined the company for Terrible Events at Lincoln Cathedral and to take over the role of Tyb in our 2008 revival of John John. She re-joined the company for Cream of Coward.
Jeremy Gittins, best known as the vicar in TV's Keeping Up Appearances, is currently engaged in corporate work in Brussels, and has recently made a commercial for Italian TV and another on a cruise ship in the Canaries with 1,000 Germans.
Judith Hibbert, who has worked extensively in TV, musicals, cabaret and pantomime, joined us to sing 'Don't Put Your Daughter on the Stage, Mrs Worthington' in Cream of Coward.
Neil King, who recently played Sherlock Holmes, John John, Mr Resister, Smirnoff, Van Gogh and Lomov in various Other Lives Productions, and Arthur Dallison in Epiphany on stage and radio, has become a client of PHA Actors Management of Manchester.
Jennifer Luckraft, formerly of Alan Ayckbourn's Scarborough company, and whose TV appearances include Casualty, London's Burning , Dangerfield and Drop the Dead Donkey, joined Other Lives for Mak the Thief, playing Gill / Mary.
Jaqueline Lythe has played Tyb in Other Lives' production of John John
John Peters, whose career includes theatre, film and television in both England and Canada, and who was that 'very, very nice' AA man in a series of TV commercials, joined the Other Lives for Cream of Coward and played Mak in Mak the Thief. In January 2011 he will re-join the company to direct and play Pozzo in Waiting for Godot.
Lucy Stabler joined the company for the March 2009 revival of The Proposal.
Corinne Stead, after her tour of the Basque region of Spain with the Ulkranian Bulava Chorus, took time out from her pursuit of a career in opera to join us for Cream of Coward.
Malcolm Tomlinson, who has appeared in many soap operas and films, and on stage in various theatres including in the West End , and who is also a horse racing commentor for Beverley racecourse and all round the country, will join Other Lives to play Lucky in Waiting for Godot in January 2011.
Emma Willis is a regular TV face. Parts include Charlie Watterson in Dr Who, Vikki Meedes in Grange Hill, and Angel in the Philadelphia Cream Cheese commercial. She has recently been working in LA. Emma was a wonderful hostess in the Arco Trade shows on tour around the UK.
